National brand, local mission

Northeastern Indiana CASA has been our longest client. For almost 10 years, we’ve had the privilege to serve them with marketing services, website design and ongoing maintenance. CASA stands for court appointed special advocate and is nationwide initiative providing a voice for children in the middle of judicial proceedings. While there is a national brand, the office serving Northeast Indiana needed a site that served its purpose. Northeast Indiana CASA serves five counties - Noble, DeKalb, Lagrange, Steuben and Whitley, and it needed a site that not only spanned the five counties it serves, but it needed to showcase annual fundraising events, online giving, volunteer opportunities as well as board and staff spotlights.

In our office, we say that a site is never really “done,” because content should be added to the site regularly and other site evolutions should take place as needs arise. This is true for CASA. It’s site gets a rework once a year in preparation for its annual fundraiser CASA Palooza. Each year, as this event ramps up, the site gets special pages added to spotlight the event details while allowing for ongoing additions of auction items, sponsors and more.

In addition, after the event is over, the site receives an update to its gallery to showcase event photos, sponsor gratitude and fundraising totals. This all in conjunction with ongoing volunteer additions and ongoing news and updates. The challenge for this site is to organize all the information so that it is easy to find for the visitor. The other challenge is to add to the site without disrupting the predetermined site flow or adding chaos to the site pages.

Features found on this site include:

  • Online giving functions within the site

  • Many videos

  • Several photo galleries

  • News page

  • Event pages with several historic event pages with online galleries
