Why blogging should be part of your plan

Blogging is still a very relevant way to communicate with your audience. From conveying your expertise to helping boost your site's SEO, blogging offers a multitude of benefits for your marketing efforts -- a few of which we cover here in this week's episode.

  1. Blogging creates new content for your site, which makes the search engines such as Google more likely to pull your site closer to the top of search results.

  2. Blogging allows you to convey your expertise and message to your audience. This is easily shared throughout social media, in your newsletter, in an email newsletter, and more!

  3. Blogging means you’ve created content that shares valuable information and insight. Since you’ve done the work, repurpose this blog into a few IG stories, live Facebook videos, recorded videos, and a few social media posts.

  4. `Blogging is a great way to capture your audience with your knowledge and invite them to respond with a call to action - such as:

    1. Download my e-guide

    2. Get access to my webinar

    3. Sign up for my workshop

    4. Get your free checklist

These are just a few call to actions that not only get your audience engaged but also captures their information for your email newsletter or further communication methods.

Regardless of what benefit hits home for you, blogging doesn’t have to take long and shouldn’t be a lengthy piece. Keep those blogs short and sweet… about 500 words if you’re just writing. About 250 if you’re going to combine video and blogging together like we do here. If you have questions about how to use blogging, please ask away in the comments! I’d love to hear more about what benefit is most enticing to you!
